I’m a writer and editor with 15 years of experience across journalism and content marketing. I got my start as a reporter covering social justice, LGBTQ+ issues, and internet culture. Most of that was at BuzzFeed News, where I eventually ran the Canadian news operation as managing editor. I have also had roles at HuffPost Canada and Postmedia, and freelanced extensively. I still take on journalism work.
On the content side, I work with brands on thought leadership, editorial programs, web copy, and ghostwriting. I’m also a BrainStation software engineering grad so I can hold my own in a technical conversation.
I'm originally from Toronto and now based in Calgary where I'm lucky to get a front-row seat to the northern lights.
